This is one of my former patients (from Brazil). She sent us a $1,000 check after she called
me and wanted her family to rather dedicate their Holidays expenses for a good cause.
Reminds me of the Joubert family in Crowley who does the same every year.
It is so heart-warming. Now she wants to do that every year to "have plenty nurses there".
A beautiful reminder that we must keep doing what we are doing.

We probably will dedicate most of it to the education of another highly motivated
high school grad dreaming of becoming a nurse, as we already have 2 of them attending
Nursing School in the city of Jacmel, at Universite Notre Dame d'Haiti, future cadres for
our hospital in their home village of La Vallee.
